Hyperhydricity

Hyperhydricity (or vitrification) is a physiological disorder occuring in plant tissue cultures. It occurs to a lower or higher extent.

When it occurs to a lower extent no major problems are encountered up to the weaning stage.

When it occurs to a higher extent serious problems can be faced in the different stages.
