Light intensity

• An appropriate light intensity is approx. 30 µmol m^-2 s^-1(PAR). Under this condition the cultures are mixotrophic.
• For autotrophic tissue culture intensities up to 250 µmol m^-2 s^-1 are required.
• Depending on the type of closure light intensity in the container is reduced to a lower or higher extend.
